ROAD TRIP!!! Part #2- Napier

Welcome to Part #2 of the road trip which was separated from Part #1 and made into it's own section simply due to the intense length both would have taken up together :)

We woke up and left the cottage at about 10am  - bye bye Llamas :( - and begun the oh so fun drive to Napier. This wasn't soooooooo bad cause it was only about a 3hr long drive.

We saw may interesting sights on our drive to Napier.

Like:

• A mountain that must have sneezed and shot off part of it's face

• Lots of blurry sheep

(I take great photos)

• The occasional patch of blue sky

• And this awesome in focus shot of the road that looks like we're driving into the sky

Then we arrived in Napier, booked into our hotel (pictures to follow shortly) and raced off to.......................SWIM WITH THE SHARKS!!! That's right :)

• We arrived at the aquarium and patiently waited in our bathing suits for someone to come grab us

• After about a 10min wait someone came and got us and we got changed into wetsuits as the water was going to be very cold

They were some very tight wetsuits so general movement and breathing became a fun challenge lol

• What will follow now is a selection of mainly blurry photos of our underwater encounter with creatures of the toothed kind,  finned and stinged :)

• I also took this video of what was under me while I was floating on the surface. It's not great but you can see most of what I did

• Unfortunately my video wouldn't load  :(  I think the file's too big
• But the pictures above are still pretty cool

• AHHHHH IT'S A TIM!!!

Next we went to the hotel to get changed then out to dinner once more (with more pictures of food :P )

• Because Tim's so smart he left his wallet in the car so while I sat in the restaurant being bored I decided to order a drink which looked a lot like this (cause this is the drink lol)

Next came more photo-whoreness

• Tim finally returned and was happy to see a coke which I had ordered for him.
• These people like serving drinks in tall glasses.

• Twas another very good meal indeed (the booze an added bonus lol)

• Then we went for a walk down the beach and I took some pics of the houses we saw

• The sky was really beautiful that evening which made the walk that much more romantic and relaxing

• We passed this lovely lit up water fountain and I couldn't help but take a few photos

•  We then headed back to the motel for a night of relaxing, snacks and T.V. watching

This was the end of our road trip journey other than the 4-5hr drive home lol

We also visited the aquarium but that's a post for when I'm not about to fall asleep :)
